By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you -- you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You're not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You're not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn't try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Petra Nagy.
Petra Nagy is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you're paying for.
Usage and Pricing
The app, hereafter referred to as "TinyTranslate", offers two main ways to access translation services:
Subscriptions:
- Users can opt for a subscription-based model, which provides unlimited access to translation services for the duration of the subscription period.
- The subscription price can change at any given time. However, if a user has an active subscription and there's a price change, Apple will notify the user via email sent to their Apple ID email address.
Character Packs:
- Users can purchase character packs, which consist of a fixed amount of tokens (translatable characters).
- Each character pack has a specific number of tokens and an expiration date. Users must use the tokens before they expire.
- Users can access the app after the trial period using these purchased characters without needing a subscription.
- The amount of characters in a purchasable pack, the price, and the expiration date can change at any given time without prior notice.
- To acquire previously purchased tokens, use them, or purchase new ones, users must log in with their Apple ID account. Without logging in with Apple ID, TinyTranslate will not be able to acquire the user's tokens for translations.
- Logging in with Apple ID is used solely to identify the user across different devices and environments and to maintain synchronization with purchased tokens. TinyTranslate will not see any personal information about the user, only a unique identifier associated with the individual Apple ID.
- Example of character usage: Total characters used = Source language length × Number of target languages.
Input Text Limits:
- TinyTranslate may impose limits on the amount of input text that can be translated in a single request or over a period of time.
- These input text limits can change at any time without prior notice, at the sole discretion of TinyTranslate.
- Users are responsible for ensuring their usage complies with any such limits that may be in effect.
Users can choose between using a subscription or purchased character packs for their translation needs. TinyTranslate will clearly indicate the pricing, token amounts, and expiration dates for all options.
Translator Service
The translation service is a service that TinyTranslate uses to translate sentences from one language to another.
TinyTranslate is not responsible for maintaining these translation services and is not liable for the responses provided by these services.
TinyTranslate reserves the right to change, remove, or add any translation service providers for any language at any given time without prior notice.
Users have the option to choose a provider from the available providers for each language.
Third-Party Services
TinyTranslate does use third-party services that declare their own Terms and Conditions.

Limitations of Liability
You should be aware that there are certain things that Petra Nagy will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of TinyTranslate will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but Petra Nagy cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don't have access to Wi-Fi, and you don't have any of your data allowance left.
If you're using TinyTranslate outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. In using the app, you're accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you're using TinyTranslate, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
Along the same lines, Petra Nagy cannot always take responsibility for the way you use TinyTranslate i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged -- if it runs out of battery and you can't turn it on to avail the Service, Petra Nagy cannot accept responsibility.
The Service is designed to support simultaneous translation between up to 10 languages on iOS and up to 10 languages on macOS to ensure optimal performance and system efficiency. We reserve the right to modify the limitations at our discretion, with or without prior notification, to maintain the quality and reliability of our translation services.
With respect to Petra Nagy's responsibility for your use of TinyTranslate, when you're using the app, it's important to bear in mind that although we endeavor to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Petra Nagy accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
Updates and Termination
At some point, we may wish to update TinyTranslate. The app is currently available on iOS and macOS -- the requirements for the system may change, and you'll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Petra Nagy does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the operating system version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you. We may also wish to stop providing TinyTranslate, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
